In a joint meeting in Qom with members of the Committee of Lebanese Scholars, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Sadeq Yusefi Moqaddam, head of Quran Cultural Center said Iran is ready to assist Lebanese Shias in Quranic research and other religious activities.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), “We are trying to promote and propagate the ideas of great Islamic thinkers such as Imam Khomeini, the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Martyr Motahari, and Ayatollah Bahjat through summarizing their books and turning them into course books,” he also said.

“Much of the enemies’ assault has been lately directed against the ideological and cultural policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and specifically against Iran’s supreme Leader and Lebanon’s Hezbollah,” Hojat-ol-Islam Yusefi Moqaddam said, adding that as well as reflecting on their ideological principles, Shias must be aware of their enemies’ plots.

“We will utilize the potentials of the Islamic Culture and Sciences Research Center as well as the grand scholars of Qom seminary in promoting Quranic and religious issues, summarizing the books of the great scholars and advocating debates on practical and applied ethics,” he went on to say.

During the Lebanese delegation’s visit, the Quran Cultural Center and the Committee of Lebanese Scholars signed an agreement on cooperation in Quranic studies.
